Seeking a Refined Online Experience

Javiera seeking a better online experience that supported the needs of all her visitor-types. Built on Wordpress with a hand-crafted design, localization support and a minimal aesthetic that will not compete with her work with an in tune visual rhythm for easy content-scanning.

Visual artist, originally from Chile currently living in Mexico City. Javier paints not only places but moments. Her work is based on the contemplation and exploration of different channels that landscapes offer to connect with universe and our inner-selves.

02. USER RESEARCH

Understanding Visitors

We kicked things off by discussing the reasons for a new website, her ideas and getting to know a little more about her visitors.

To address the needs of each customer, I created three user-personas and customer journeys for each.Initial discussions provided clarity, each visitor type had unique reasons and intentions for visiting the website.

San Francisco native, currently working as a Product Manager in the tech industry, Xiana is passionate about art and supporting artist both locally and worldwide.

An artist herself, she has followed Javiera since seeing her at a local art-event years ago. Plans to visit website a few times a year to check on new work and possible local-events.

A gallery owner, running a small gallery in South Beach, Fl, constantly on the look out for artwork reflects the taste his new and established clients while growing his business.

Creating wireframes with Balsomiq to quickly iterate on ideas and putting shape to ideas. Created with Wordpress in mind resulting in 3 different templates to support a wide-variety of content layouts and amounts.
